Summary: We have rented other houses in Kailua over the years. Lihikai was by far the most luxurious property we have stayed at. The care that went into every detail was evident. We walked on the beach, swam in the pool, went into Kailua town, toured Manoa Chocolate, had lunch on the Windward side (Waiahole Poi Factory! Yum!). We visited The Local General Store in Honolulu for amazing pastries and local meat, had cocktails at Podmore, visited the Bishop Museum, and had dinner at our friend's house on Tantalus. Honestly, it's my dream to one day live in Kailua to be nearer to my daughter.
